South Mimms Services
South Mimms Services opened in 1987 at junction 23 of the M25 where it meets the A1(M). A fire in 1998 caused significant damage requiring extensive repairs. The services occupy a strategic position capturing traffic from multiple major routes converging at one of the M25’s busiest junctions. Operated by Welcome Break, the site underwent various improvements to handle its substantial traffic volumes. It serves as an important rest stop for traffic circulating Britain’s orbital motorway.
