Reading Services
Reading Services opened in April 1995 after 20 years of planning debates about its location. Built on the former Field Farm landfill site, each side featured distinctive glass pyramid entrances painted dark red. Originally charging £5 for car parking, the services were designed with a 67-metre gap from the motorway for future widening. Located between junctions 11 and 12, it’s operated by Moto and was the UK’s third motorway to gain an M&S Simply Food store in 2004.
