Cardiff Gate Services

Cardiff Gate Services opened in 2000 at junction 30 of the M4, developed by Brunswick on a 10-acre site within Cardiff Gate International Business Park. The forecourt opened mid-2000 branded Elf, later becoming Total. Granada operated initially before Welcome Break took over. The services famously doubled as Leigh Delamere in BBC’s Gavin and Stacey, despite being located in Wales rather than Wiltshire. The Ibis Hotel was sold to Travelodge in 2025. Located northeast of Cardiff near Pontprennau.
