Donington Park Services

Donington Park Services opened on 8 July 1999, named after the nearby motorsport circuit. The opening ceremony featured Charlie Dimmock planting trees and a 1955 Maserati 250F on display. Unique among service stations, it features a hotel built on top of the main building rather than attached separately. It pioneered non-food retail shops similar to airports and hosted the first motorway Marks and Spencer store. Operated by Moto, the services benefit from their position serving both the M1 and A42, near East Midlands Airport.
