Frankley Services

Frankley Services opened in 1966 as one of Granada’s earliest motorway service stations, the first without a public footbridge between sides. The southbound building towers over the motorway with a full second story backing over the exit road. Initially disappointing Granada due to low traffic before the M5 extended north in 1970, by 1971 it was making £50,000 annual profit. Located between junctions 3 and 4, it marks the M5’s northernmost point in Worcestershire. Now operated by Moto.
