Keele Services
Keele Services opened on 15 November 1963 as an exact copy of Charnock Richard, making it the M6’s second service station and featuring Britain’s fourth bridge-restaurant design. Located between junctions 15 and 16 near Stoke-on-Trent, it was built by Welcome Break following the same successful blueprint that had opened months earlier. The services underwent various modernizations while maintaining their historic structure. Named after nearby Keele village and university, they serve the busy Midlands-to-North-West corridor.
