Lymm Services
Lymm Services evolved from Poplar 2000, a truck stop that moved to its current triangular site between the M6, M56 and A50 in the 1980s. Unlike official motorway service areas, it maintains a drinks licence and function suite. Planning proposals in 2022 sought to formally classify it as an M56 motorway service area. In 2023, road signs were updated to officially designate it a motorway truckstop, the first to use the new sign format with six brand logos. Operated by Moto.
