Norton Canes Services opened on 9 March 2004 on the M6 Toll, described as ‘a new era in services’ with ‘the look of a Scandinavian airport lounge.’ Roadchef uses the 68-acre site as their headquarters. The Air Pulse Memorial sculpture was added in 2016 celebrating 25 years of Midlands Air Ambulance. Transport Focus calculated 100% satisfaction in 2018, making it Britain’s top-performing service station. Despite the quiet M6 Toll, it’s one of Roadchef’s busiest sites.
